UAE evacuates 178 people from Sudan, delivers critical aid with WHO
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has evacuated 178 people, including a child with bullet injuries, from Sudan to ensure their safe return home. This move was directed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who has been actively promoting and protecting human rights in the UAE.
In addition to the evacuation, the UAE has also partnered with the World Health Organization (WHO) to deliver 30 tonnes of critical medical aid to Sudan to support the country's efforts in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. This aid will be crucial in providing medical support to those affected by the pandemic in Sudan.
The UAE is also looking to strengthen its economic ties with Vietnam and increase their trade turnover. This move will not only help in boosting the economy of both countries but also contribute to the overall growth of the region.
