UAE, WHO deliver 30 tonnes of critical medical aid to Sudan

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) have together sent 30 tonnes of critical medical supplies to Sudan. The aid was landed at Port Sudan Airport and aimed at supporting the Sudanese refugees who are affected by the ongoing military conflict in their country.

The aid shipment was sent in partnership with the World Health Organisation and the medical supplies came from the International Humanitarian City in Dubai.

It is worth noting that the UAE has also carried out evacuation flights for refugees from five countries, coinciding with the delivery of humanitarian aid to Sudan
