US cop fired after releasing attack dog on surrendered black driver

 

Police in Circleville, Ohio, on Wednesday (local time) fired an officer who unleashed his dog on a Black man during a highway traffic stop and ordered the animal to attack even though the man had his hands raised.

Ryan Speakman of Circleville police directing his dog to attack driver Jadarrius Rose. - Other officers repeatedly instructed Mr Speakman to "not release the dog".

Officials said that his actions "did not meet the standards and expectations we hold for our police officers"
