UAE Climate Tech Forum Kicks Off, Fostering Sustainable Innovation in Abu Dhabi

The UAE Climate Tech Forum has recently kicked off in Abu Dhabi, aimed at fostering sustainable innovation and addressing the pressing issue of climate change. The event brings together experts, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and investors from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and other climate-friendly technologies, which was hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) in collaboration with ADNOC and Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar).

The event coincides with the UAE’s Year of Sustainability and is strategically linked with the country’s aim of lowering emissions by at least 43% by 2030. This effort underlines the UAE’s commitment to combating climate change in preparation for the forthcoming COP28.
