EADM hails UAE’s remarkable progress in human rights
The European Association for the Defence of Minorities (EADM) has lauded the UAE for its notable achievements in promoting and protecting human rights, particularly in relation to the UAE's Universal Periodic Review (UPR) presentation to the UN on May 8. The UAE highlighted its commitment to improving the human rights situation and fulfilling its international obligations during the review.
The UAE emphasized its achievements in combating human trafficking, protecting workers' rights, countering terrorism, and fostering a culture of tolerance and coexistence. These accomplishments have reportedly received praise from human rights organizations and experts who gathered for an international symposium in Geneva, Switzerland, alongside the 52nd session of the Human Rights Council (HRC).
Both the EADM and the coalition of human rights organizations commended the UAE for its efforts in establishing the Abrahamic Family House, promoting tolerance, and fostering human coexistence.
