Malaysia receives special attention in UAE’s Southeast network expansion strategy

The UAE’s commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region was recently highlighted by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, at the Arab League Summit. The close bilateral relationship between the UAE and Malaysia, particularly between Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the King of Malaysia, has been instrumental in cementing ties between the two countries. As the UAE is Malaysia's largest economic partner in the Middle East and West Asia, the two countries have cooperated in various fields, including military cooperation and response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The UAE's defence and technology group EDGE will showcase its autonomous systems and smart weapons at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) 2023 in May, which will help strengthen partnerships in the Southeast Asian region
