The UAE ranks second globally for ex-pats to live and the ease in visa issuance

 

The United Arab Emirates has been ranked second globally for ex-pats to live in and the ease in visa issuance. According to the Expat Essentials Index 2022, Dubai and Abu Dhabi claimed the second and ninth spots, respectively, among the top 10 cities for ex-pats to live in.

The ranking is based on InterNations’ annual Expat Insider survey, wherein 11,970 ex-pats participated to rate the quality of life in different cities. 

The survey analysed the Quality of Life, Ease of Settling In, Working Abroad, Personal Finance, and the new Expat Essentials of 50 cities across the world to give the final rating. 

The survey found that Dubai and Abu Dhabi also rank in the top 10 for Quality of Life and that people are satisfied with their jobs and compensation in Dubai. Additionally, ex-pats are reportedly happy with their social life in Dubai.

The ease of visa issuance is also an important factor that makes the UAE an attractive destination for expats. It's good to see that expats are satisfied with their jobs and compensation in Dubai and that the city offers a great quality of life and social life.
