White House Bars AP & Reuters from Trump’s First Cabinet Meeting

Today, as media outlets analyze key developments, reports from the White House reveal that major news agencies, including AP and Reuters, were barred from covering President Trump's first cabinet meeting of his second term.

According to Reuters, journalists from Reuters, HuffPost, and the German newspaper Der Tagesspiegel were denied entry, along with an AP photographer. However, reporters from Axios, Newsmax, NPR, Bloomberg, and The Blaze were granted access.

The Trump administration recently introduced a new policy allowing the White House to control which media outlets can access limited-capacity spaces like the Oval Office. Previously, the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) managed press pool access to ensure fair representation.
