West Asian allies reject Iran threat, deny permission to use airspace for Iran attack.

In a drama diplomatic turn, it has been clearly communicated to Washington and Tel Aviv by several West Asian states, Jordan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, that they will not allow their airspace to be used for military action against Iran. The development has followed increasingly heightened tensions in the aftermath of recent Iranian missile strikes against Israeli territory, creating alarm on account of the new regional war and its impact on global oil markets.

The position of these nations puts strong accent on their fears of a total war that would leave the whole region unstable and halt the oil supplies that are necessary for the world economy. Their allies in Western Asia fear the degradation of their territories as strike bases for offensive operations; they know that Iran has issued an ultimatum warning any state providing such attacks of stern retaliations.

Therefore, they are not shutting the doors, but at the same time, they are insisting on the management of stability in the region and further escalation should be avoided. Such balancing in the Middle East is so sensitive that it needs to be done by careful crossing of paths; so these countries have been increasing diplomatic solutions than military interventions. The international community will therefore watch how situations are developing so as to try to diagnose any changed aspects of regional security and global geopolitics.
