Kamala Harris Breaks Tradition with Early DNC Speech Thanking President Joe Biden

The Democratic National Convention DNC opened in Chicago, and the thing which was a big surprise was that U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris came with the speech she made to express gratitude to President Joe Biden for his many years of service to the nation. The 59-year-old leader, originally Indian, said that Biden showed important leadership, and the nation is and will "forever grateful" for all he has done.

Harris started her speech: "Joe, thank you for your historic leadership and your lifetime of service to our nation." And she got a best response as the crowd appreciated with big applause. In the world, normally presidential candidates give their speech on the last day of a convention, but Harris's early speaking made an impact right out of the box.

It is expected that Harris will accept her nomination for the November elections during the convention that ends on August 22. She referred to the oneness of all Americans by stating, "People from every corner of our country are here, and this November, we will come together." The convention is also projected to include Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as the Democratic vice-presidential candidate. There will be a very important speech by President Biden, with former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton among the speakers. The Democrats also will pay homage to Hillary Clinton, their 2016 candidate.
