Isaac Hayes Family Upset With Trump For Using Song Without Permission

The family of singer Isaac Hayes is not happy that former President Donald Trump used one of Hayes' songs without getting permission.

Isaac Hayes was a famous musician who is best known for the song "Theme from Shaft." He died in 2008.

In 2016, during his presidential campaign, Trump used Hayes' song "Hold On, I'm Comin'" at some of his rallies. However, the Hayes family says they never gave Trump permission to use the song.

The Hayes estate released a statement saying they were "surprised and dismayed" that Trump used the song without asking. They said the use of the song was unauthorized and that the Hayes family does not condone the use of his music for any political purposes.

This is not the first time a musician has complained about Trump using their music without permission. Several other artists, including The Rolling Stones and Rihanna, have also accused Trump of using their songs at his events without getting the proper clearance.

The Hayes family is now exploring legal options to stop Trump from using the song in the future. They want to make it clear that they do not support or endorse Trump's use of Isaac Hayes' music.
