Unique Sleep Habits in the Animal Kingdom: An Expedition

Sleep

Sleep is a fundamental physiological process across the animal kingdom, although the duration and style in which different species rest can vary dramatically. While humans hold a cyclic daily sleep pattern, some animals have developed remarkable abilities that allow them to perform without a conventional sleep pattern. Here, we explore some of the most interesting examples of animals challenging our perception of sleep.

Did you know  that Baby Dolphins do not take a nap for about a month after being born. The reason is they need to resurface above the water every few seconds during that time.

The bluefin tuna is among the fastest and most migratory fish in the ocean; it lives life to the fullest since it does not sleep like other creatures. This means that these fish do not have that kind of deep sleep which characterizes mammals.
