UAE stays committed to regional cooperation as its commitment during the SCO summit shows.

 The UAE delegation, lead by Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al. Khaimah H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi will participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit in Astana from July 3rd to 4th, 2024 to enhance regional dialogue and cooperation for sustainable peace and development. 

This year's meeting is significant because it takes place in the context where U.A.E. ascended from observer status to a full member dialogue partner of SCO which is a significant milepost for its regional diplomacy. Having the theme “The intensification of multicommunication – the quest for viable peace and progress,” the summit is scheduled to bring together various heads of state who will deliberate on collective methodologies with regards to politics, economy as well as culture.
