Presidents Joe Biden and Donald Trump went into the first debate for an election; the debate fascinated the entire country and uncovered the deep cracks in the American politics. This contest was aired live on CNN for 90 minutes- it featured two great personalities whose pasts have been questioned sharply because of their decisions throughout their respective terms.

Another flashpoint in enforcement policy was on immigration. While criticizing the harsh administration policies on immigration including family separations at the border, Biden called for a more humane approach towards immigration reform. His actions were viewed as essential for national security by Trump who also blamed them for reducing illegal migration and protecting American jobs. The former vice president insisted these were lies when Trump accused him of supporting open borders.
