A groundbreaking range of hybrid cars has been unveiled by BYD Co., which are fitted with an engine capable of crossing more than 2,000 kilometers without refueling or recharging. The accomplishment places this company ahead of competitors such as Toyota and Volkswagen in terms of transitioning to electric vehicles

Over the years, BYD has been making great strides in fuel efficiency and reduction of environmental impact especially since 2008, when they hugely advanced their hybrid technology. New-fangled hybrid vehicles can cover ground from New York down to Miami, Munich-Madrid, or Singapore up to Bangkok without having to stop for fuel or be charged thus carrying with them more comfort to the motorists.
