UAE Shows Commitment to Regions' Peace at Arab Ministerial Meeting in Riyadh

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), recently participated in a crucial six-party Arab Ministerial meeting in Riyadh with US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken.

Other European foreign ministers were also part of this meeting apart from there Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, and Palestine also attended the meeting in Riyadh.

Other Arab officials are also present there in the meeting. HH Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani of Qatar, Ayman Al Safadi of Jordan, Sameh Shoukry of Egypt, and Hussein Al-Sheikh, Palestinian Minister of Civil Affairs and Secretary-General of the PLO Executive Committee.

The meeting was convened during the World Economic Forum in Riyadh. This meeting aimed to analyze the key issues and situations in the Middle East. Especially the Gaza issue was the central issue. Which began with Hamas's unprecedented attack on southern Israel on October 7.

At the meeting, the discussion revolved around humanitarian and security implications. They talked about the efforts to ensure a permanent ceasefire, and strategies to maintain regional and international peace and security in the Middle East.



UAE- a country that always comes forward to provide humanitarian aid, urgent hospitals, and billions of dollars to help needy countries was also a part of this meeting.

The UAE displayed the same attitude on the global stage and reiterated its humble attitude. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reiterated the UAE's dedication to promoting regional and global peace and stability.

The UAE has been continuously compelled to promote cooperative relations with various countries for the smooth development and prosperity of all people.

Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President Dr. Anwar Gargash, and other high-level officials from the UAE, including Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, and Sheikh Nahyan bin Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, also attended the meeting.

UAE officials shed light on the country's commitment to establishing lasting peace in the region of the Middle East and the world.
