UAE's Compassionate Journey: Healing Lives in Gaza

In a remarkable display of compassion and solidarity, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has welcomed the ninth batch of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Guided by the visionary directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, this humanitarian initiative aims to treat 1,000 wounded Palestinian children and 1,000 individuals suffering from cancer in the Gaza Strip in UAE hospitals.

Dr. Maha Tayseer Barakat, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Medical Affairs and Life Sciences, emphasized the UAE's commitment to supporting its Palestinian brothers in the face of a significant health sector deterioration. The "Galant Knight 3" operation, a beacon of hope amid challenges, underscores the nation's proactive approach to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The meticulous evacuation and treatment protocol saw 49 wounded children and cancer patients accompanied by their companions, ensuring adherence to health protocols. The Emirati field hospital in southern Gaza, having received 2,644 injured individuals since its inception, highlights the tangible impact of the UAE's commitment to the Palestinian cause.

Beyond medical aid, the UAE's comprehensive humanitarian efforts include 15,000 tonnes of food assistance and addressing water scarcity with desalination plants, benefitting over 600,000 people in Gaza. This latest milestone reinforces the UAE's position as a global beacon of compassion and commitment to healing the wounds of those in need. #UAEHumanitarianAid #SupportingGaza #GlobalSolidarity
