Google and Dubai Collaborate: Key Meeting Boosts Tech Innovation

 

His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE, met with Ruth Porat, President and Chief Investment Officer of Alphabet and Google, during a strategic meeting at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

The meeting underscored Dubai’s forward-thinking vision, which is driven by technology innovation, as well as its steadfast commitment to encouraging transformative growth across industries.

Sheikh Maktoum emphasized Dubai’s desire to become a global hub for future industries, as well as the city’s rapid growth into a future-ready metropolis.
