UAE Steps Up Support For Battered Gaza As Israel-Hamas War Enters Day 26

 

The UAE envoy to the UN has denounced Israel’s assault of hospitals and emphasized the necessity of a humanitarian ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Twenty hospitals and clinics in Gaza have suffered damage or destruction as a result of more than 76 assaults on the medical facilities there, according to information presented to the UN Security Council on Monday.

The UAE’s permanent representative to the UN and ambassador, Lana Nusseibeh, criticized Israel’s practice of ordering “cruel” evacuations before attacking civilian facilities.

Concerning the disruption of communications in the besieged enclave, Nusseibeh stated that this meant that “wounded civilians were searching for help in the dark.”

She demanded that steps be done to guarantee that humanitarian relief reaches Gaza and that gasoline, electricity, and clean water are once again available. It appears as day 26 of the conflict approaches.

A multitude of fundraising and contribution campaigns, such as the Tarahum for Gaza aid effort, have been started in the Emirates, offering Emiratis many options for making donations.
