UAE Boosts Help: 1,000 Injured Palestinian Children To Reach Emirati Hospitals

 

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the transfer of 1,000 Palestinian youngsters to Emirati hospitals for medical treatment.

This is a continuation of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to provide aid to the Palestinian people in response to the dire humanitarian conditions they are facing. According to a statement, the wounded kids would go from Gaza along with their families.

The announcement was made soon after the International Committee of the Red Cross president, Mirjana Spoljaric, and Foreign Affairs Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, spoke about the significance of “enabling the safe, unimpeded and sustained delivery of relief and medical aid.”

Furthermore, in response to the UAE’s request, the UN Security Council scheduled an emergency meeting on Monday in response to Israel’s declaration of increased ground operations in Gaza. The Emirates denounced Israel’s shelling on hospitals and demanded a ceasefire.

The UAE’s permanent representative to the UN and ambassador, Lana Nusseibeh, expressed grave concerns about Israel’s decision to force “cruel” evacuations before attacking civilian facilities. She demanded that steps be done to guarantee that help reaches the enclave.
