Elon Musk To Meet Israeli President As X’s Advertiser Exodus Rages On

Civil rights organizations have accused billionaire Elon Musk of exacerbating anti-Jewish sentiment on his X platform, formerly known as Twitter.

On Monday, he will meet with Israel’s President, Isaac Herzog, as well as Israeli citizens whose relatives are being held by Hamas in Gaza.

“During their meeting, the president will emphasize the need to act to combat rising antisemitism online,” Herzog’s office said Sunday night.

According to Israel’s Channel 12, Musk, who also leads SpaceX and Tesla, will meet with Netanyahu. However, there was no quick response from the Israeli Prime Minister’s office.

Musk’s visit coincides with a temporary ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas battle, during which Israel claims to have freed 58 of the approximately 240 captives held in Gaza.

With the release of the third group of captives, the US voiced hope that the fragile truce would be extended beyond Monday, while Israel indicated that its campaign was far from over.
