UAE categorically denies supplying arms and ammunition to warring parties in Sudan

 

UAE has rejected the reports suggesting its support for the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of the Sudan war, arguing it "does not take sides" in the conflict.

“The UAE categorically denies supplying weapons or ammunition to any of the warring factions in Sudan since the beginning of the conflict in April 2023, and does not take sides in the conflict in the country,” a statement published by the official Emirates News Agency affirmed. 

Moreover, Al Hameli reaffirmed the Emirates does not take sides in the ongoing violence, and seeks an end to the conflict and calls for respecting Sudan’s sovereignty.
